The Roc Solid Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families with children facing pediatric cancer, providing hope and moments of joy during unimaginably difficult times. Their mission centers on building playsets and delivering Ready Bags — tangible reminders that families are not alone as they begin their cancer journey. Greensboro Nissan is proud to partner with this deserving organization as part of Hudson Automotive Group’s Region 2 initiative, standing alongside Roc Solid to uplift families when they need it most.

Giving Back with Roc Solid

Hudson Automotive Group volunteers across Region 2 will support Roc Solid through two meaningful initiatives. These efforts directly impact families navigating childhood cancer. First, our teams will participate in Roc Solid Ready Bag packing parties. We will assemble care kits filled with essentials and comfort items for families to receive at the hospital upon their child’s diagnosis. Second, our volunteers will join Roc Solid Playset Builds. Because children with cancer have compromised immune systems, it is dangerous for them to play with other kids at public playgrounds. To help these children have fun without the risk, Roc Solid volunteers construct backyard playsets that give children a safe place to play and experience moments of normalcy at home. As Hudson volunteers join these hands-on efforts, they'll connect with families in a powerful and personal way, bringing hope where it’s needed most.
